I Finally Graduated!

I posted this at MTBMichigan.com, but I thought I would post it here, too.

I finally have a little time to tell about graduation. I have been enrolled in the New Breed School of Ministry for a long time. It has been a challenging time for me. I have been youth pastoring for about four years, and I just felt I needed to get a better education and preparation for larger amounts of ministry.

After over a year of education in homiletics, hermeneutics, exegetics, theology, doctrine, sacraments, Old Testament, New Testament, Bible Prophesy, Personal Ministry, Leadership, and a whole slew of other topics I can say that this is one of the best things I have ever done. I am now an ordained pastor, which is exciting to say, but more than that, I have been immersed in education that has forced me to take a good look internally and figure out who I am in Christ, and who I am called to be as a leader in the church.

Another exciting thing about this is that I graduated with honors. In high school I think I might have been in the top 90% of my class, but I graduated School of Ministry #1. This is made more exciting because I did it in the midst of all my life duties of family, job, ministry, outreaches, and trying to get my health in order.
