Well, it has come to my attention that I have not blogged in over a month. This is not intentional. I have just been a little busy.
First, my wife and I had been coordinating the effort of getting 40 youth to Battle Cry. In that we ultimately worked to get four other churches there. In that we did an overnight with three of the other churches. It was hosted by Riverside Fellowship as our church could not hold 140 youth over night to sleep. The only downfall to this was I was the only male to stay at the church with the youth. I didn't sleep all night. It was fun, though, and the pictures can be seen here.
Second, Andrea and I are on a missions board at our church. This is exciting. Missions is really on our hearts. Well, the group our church is part of, Master Builders, had the spring regional for leaders. In this, Buddy Walker, the Master Builders Missions coordinator, called a meeting for our missions board. He told us of a new project. In this it was realized that they really need a website for the missions group. Well, being the web geek I am, I took that project on and it can be seen here.
I have also been working on the website for the Institute for Black Family Development and the Detroit Partnership. This is a five year project and should really bless and change Detroit forever.
On top of that, biking season is coming and I have been getting bikes ready, and I am still learning bass guitar.

to mention that two youth from our church (in Sarnia) were invited at the last minute to attend the event you posted about. The younger of the two had an image in his mind during one of the songs. He saw all the youth worshipping and going nuts, then when he closed his eyes for a time, he imagined all the faces turning into students at his high school. He felt God saying to him "this is your assignment". His response was funny "can't you just send me to Africa or somewhere I never have to see these people again?" but he is taking it seriously, and we all prayed for him.
cool, eh?
